Drag Race
It’s a quarter-mile run way with speed trap at the end of the finish line. Before getting in the start line, they burn their tires to get good grip when they start. Gray smoke all over, crowds roaring. Cars side by side in a straight line and a start light on the center of two roads. To join, you must have a strong engine to enter or compete. There’s tournament every year, all motor or turbo, Based on what your car haves, you compete the same type.
It was on the year 2002, around the beginning of summer time in Alaska raceway at Palmer, Alaska. Shaun, 20, fastest time was high 12 seconds on a black 95 civic hatchback swap with a fully built b16 engine. He won first place and had a trophy.
He said, "I became drag racer because he likes the rushing speed”. I said,” what are some pointers that you have to help new people joining the sport?”. He say,” to help new people join the sport is to make sure you have good hands and feet reaction to the clutch and gear shifter”.
Later on in the future, he'll be building a Nissan 350z. He'll be expecting to do track racing with his build up instead of drag racing.
To do track racing, the car will need good suspensions for turning on corners but for drags racers, you don’t need it because it’s a straight run with on turning. Track racing is not just about how fast it is, it’s about turning corners and it has laps. You need good tires, shocks and springs while you’re on the track.
For those who want to see how fast their car is, they can go to a drag race straight run track and see how fast their car is.
